After you create a staff member, you can set permissions and control what parts of the admin each staff member can access. As the store owneryou can give staff permissions to your store by sending invitations to their email address.
From your Shopify admin, click Settingsand then click Plan and permissions or Account. In the Staff section of Permissionsclick Add staff. The staff member can now log in to the Shopify admin by using their email address and password. They can also edit the details of their account. Store owners and staff members can edit their account details and add a picture to the account when they log in to the Shopify admin with their credentials.
Store owners and staff members can edit the details only for their own account. If you've set up a single login, then changing the email address within your profile section will change the email address for all stores linked under that single login. If you're a staff member and want your email address to be different for a store, then you need to contact the store owner and ask them to add you as a staff member to that store using the different email address, and remove staff permissions for the existing email address for that store. As the store owner or a staff member with full permissions, you can see the login history of any staff member.
Staff members can see their individual login histories as well. You should review staff login histories periodically to check that there hasn't been access from unknown ISPs, locations, or IP addresses.
This could be a sign that the account has been compromised. In the Permissions section, click the name of the staff member that you want to view. In the Recent login history section, you can see the five most recent login sessions and the following information about each session:. If your staff members are using a device or an application for your Shopify store and lose their device, then you can log your staff member out and require them to log in again.
This can help prevent unknown users from accessing your store. In the Apps section, click Revoke Access next to the appropriate device or application. You can deactivate staff to revoke their access to your store. You have the option to reactivate them at any time.
The staff member no longer appears in the staff members list on your Plan and permissions page and can no longer access your store. Staff members can permanently delete their account from a store. Staff can also be deleted by store owners. This action cannot be undone. If one or more staff members share the account that you want to delete, create separate staff member accounts for your active staff members first.
Click Delete staff or Remove staff to permanently delete the staff member from your store. The staff member is removed permanently from your store and no longer appears in the staff members list on your Plan and permissions page and can no longer access your store. In the Remove collaborator account section, click Delete collaborator account or Remove collaborator account.
The collaborator is permanently deleted from your store and no longer appears in the Collaborators list on your Plan and permissions page and can no longer access your store. If you want to give a collaborator access again, then you must ask the collaborator to resend their collaborator request. See Giving partners access to your store for more information.
